March is Women’s History Month, during this time we celebrate accomplishments and milestones that women have made both past and present. This is a time to reflect and admire the trailblazing women who have and continue to lead the way for change in the world! ALKrew celebrated all month long by introducing new AWE leaders, spotlights, and so much more!
ALKU kicked off Women’s History Month by holding a sit-down Table Talk with the Founders of AWE! During this table talk, Kate Lelievre, Kathie, and Leah Bourdon answered some questions in a conversational style. They chatted about why they started AWE, what they hope the future of AWE will look like, and so much more.
What’s a better time to introduce our new AWE leaders than during Women’s History Month? Kate, Kathie Boles, and Leah began searching for AWE members to take the next step in leading the AWE Employee Resource Group. There were a bunch of amazing applications submitted that showed the true passion the women at ALKU have for this ERG. The four women selected will help support AWE meetings with topics and operations, and work with Kate, Kathie, and Leah to help with strategy to enhance the group. Our 4 new AWE leaders are Ana Etienne, Senior Accounts Receivable Coordinator, Micaela Damiano, Senior Director of ERP Recruiting Maddie Eldridge, Marketing Manager and Kristina Doucette, Recruiting Trainer!
Throughout Women’s History Month, ALKU highlighted the empowering women at ALKU and the paths that led them to break barriers! The 3 revenue women that were highlighted throughout March were Desiree Drummond-Mayrie, Medical Device QVC Recruiter, Lauren Morse, Senior Medical Device Recruiting Manager and Shannen Ketenci, Epic Sales Manager! They each shared their ALKU story, who their ALKrew role model is, their biggest piece of career advice, and how they pay it forward at ALKU!
Finally, ALKU shared ways to LVLUP and get involved with amazing VTO opportunities throughout Women’s History Month. The ALKrew can’t wait to celebrate again in 2023!
