Helena Han

Helena is a seasoned accounting and finance professional with 20 years of corporate accounting experience across various industries. She began her career as a Financial Auditor at EY and has since held key roles at companies such as GE, Nuance Communications, and Cerevel Therapeutics. Most recently, as Director of Corporate Accounting and Business Finance at Cerevel, she led operations, SEC filings, and the final acquisition process. A licensed CPA in Massachusetts, Helena brings extensive expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial management. As ALKU’s Senior Director, Corporate Controller, she is responsible for overseeing the Accounting team, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

With a clear vision of both the present and the future, I’m able to manage my time effectively, allowing space to participate in ERG events and build relationships with coworkers — activities I truly enjoy.

What is your favorite way to get involved at ALKU?
My favorite way to get involved at ALKU is by participating in ERGs and having casual conversations by the coffee machine!

What is your day-to-day life like outside of ALKU?
I’m married with a husband, two kids, and three cats. When I’m not busy with the kids, I enjoy jogging and reading. As a family, we love traveling, making videos of our cats, and exploring Boston for great food and fun!
