For over ten years, Emily has tackled many different roles at ALKU, from Marketing to Facilities to Office Operations. In every single position, she has given 110% day in and day out, handling any challenge thrown her way with tenacity and a smile. Since getting involved in the Office Operations realm, Emily has truly helped the group get to the next level of service and ensure that all of ALKU’s offices are operating at the top of their game. She is constantly thinking about how the company can improve, and is never shy in sharing her efforts to bring them to life. With her passion and understanding of the ALKU brand, Emily has been responsible for many creative and design makeovers of our full-time offices and Training Centers, most recently including ALKU’s new and improved Andover Headquarters.
Named one of ALKU’s CEO’s Choices in 2023, Emily has planned ALKU’s beloved Founder’s Club Trip for years, ensuring the ALKrew is adequately rewarded for their hard work with a well-deserved vacation. By proving herself through her hard work, dedication, and determination, she was ALKU’s first ever 100% remote employee, completing her responsibilities seamlessly from home without missing a beat in her daily schedule. Outside of her role, Emily is an active ERG member and serves as ALKU’s UNITY ERG’s Sponsor, providing the group with her guidance and insight. Whether its participating in the Rodman Ride for Kids fundraising every year, or serving as a member on ALKU’s DE&I Team, Emily ensures her presence is felt in every area of the company. In her new role, Emily will oversee ALKU’s Office Operations team. She will manage the day-to-day office operations of all full-time offices as well as Training Centers, build and maintain relationships with vendors, coordinate essential services required to keep the offices functioning, and look for ways to improve efficiencies and collaboration across all offices.
Congratulations, Emily! We are so excited to see all you accomplish in this new role!
“While I have had the pleasure of working alongside Emily for 10 years now (!), only recently have I gotten to pull back the curtain and truly see all that goes into her day to day; let me tell you, it’s a lot! Emily has had a pretty crazy journey at ALKU. She’s held many different roles and reported to many different managers (her current one, of course, being the best) but this moment in her career is big. She has the unique responsibility of overseeing two different functions as both the Office Operations and Facilities Manager. She manages employees in multiple offices and deals with so many external vendors on a daily basis. She has an amazing get shit done attitude that I have always admired. I know she will continue to lead the team and the company to new heights. Oh, and her design capabilities aren’t too shabby either. Thanks for all you do, Em, and congratulations on this amazing accomplishment!” – Kayla Serard, Senior Director, Payroll, Personnel Services & Benefits
“Congratulations, my friend! I’ve watched you wear countless hats over the years, tackling each role with tenacity, adaptability, and always a sprinkle of humor. This past year, having the opportunity to help out with Operations gave me an even closer look at how masterfully you navigate the challenges in your world. Most folks won’t ever know of or fully appreciate all the hoops that the Office Ops team jumps through because, following your lead, you make it look EASY. During your Roadmap these past few months, I’ve also witnessed firsthand how much you care about fostering comradery and prioritizing your team’s best interest. Office Ops is incredibly fortunate to have you at the helm. I am beyond confident that under your guidance, the team will continue to thrive and achieve even greater heights. Congratulations again, girly!!!” – Anna Kochien, Director, Personnel Services
“Emily, congratulations on your promotion to Office Operations Manager! Your journey to get here is truly a story to be told. Emily started at ALKU ten years ago and worked in both Operations and Marketing. She worked her way up to Leadership, but when her family life took her to California, she took a step back from being a leader in the formal sense. However, Emily has always been leading. She quickly realized that the Facilities Planning role was something she would excel at, and she took a chance on that while also still planning Founder’s Club and holiday parties. Emily is one of ALKU’s most all around talented employees—she is smart, hardworking, a problem solver, a great writer, has amazing interpersonal skills, among many others. I know that you could give her any job or task, and not only would she complete it, but she would do it the best it’s ever done. When the opportunity to get back into the Office Operations world came about, Emily was the first name that came to mind, and she has not disappointed. ALKU is extremely lucky to have Emily and we are even better off now with her leading the Office Operations team. Congratulations, Em!” – Lauren Pacella, Vice President, People Operations
