Starting her ALKU career as a Benefits Coordinator in March 2022, Emily has always been a strong employee with incredible attention to detail and the ability to ask questions, diving deeper into any process or situation. Owning all outreach for external W2s, and eventually internal outreach, she quickly became a staple for all to reach out to on behalf of their consultants and field employees while also being the point person to help run trainings for Revenue, providing detailed educational resources. With her optimism and attention to detail, Emily has built strong relationships with everyone she’s worked with, making a name for herself as someone who almost always knows the answer and, if not, will do everything she can to solve the issue. A true testament to her lead-by-example mentality, Emily led ALKU’s first-ever one-week Open Enrollment in 2024 and generated an internal contest to boost participation, making it our most successful one yet.
Since beginning her leadership journey, Emily has dived far into the intricacies of the Benefits Team, never hesitating to step up to be a part of higher-level strategy and decision-making. With her determination and passion, she has never backed down from a challenge, which shows every day through her calm, cool, and collected demeanor. Emily has consistently pushed herself out of her comfort zone, from being a mentor, to running her desk and navigating her own leadership development. Always operating with ALKU’s Have Fun Working Hard® culture at the forefront of her mind, she plans outings and VTOs for her team, attends ERG Open Meetings, and participates in company-wide events like fundraisers, happy hours, and more. In her new role, Emily will continue to push efficiency and excellence for all ALKU Benefits communication, education, and processes. She will oversee all outreach, problem resolution, and project and vendor management for the Benefits Team while being the voice of Benefits Leadership and getting involved in strategy and decision-making for the team.
