ANDOVER, MA (June 13, 2024) – Leading specialty staffing firm ALKU today announced the appointment of Amy Ainsworth as Chief Financial Officer. A veteran financial operations professional, Ainsworth will relocate to Massachusetts from the San Francisco Bay Area, where she most recently served as CFO at DeWinter Group.
As ALKU’s CFO, Ainsworth will play a critical role in developing and implementing financial strategies that support the company’s ambitions of continued growth and success. At DeWinter Group, she led accounting, finance and HR functions on transformational initiatives to quickly scale the company. Before that, Ainsworth acted as corporate controller at Callidus Cloud, responsible for all aspects of accounting including operational processing, treasury, SEC reporting, and earnings releases.
“Amy’s proven track record of success in high-growth public and private companies, knowledge of the staffing industry, and collaborative mindset made her an ideal candidate for this role,” said Mark Eldridge, CEO and Founder of ALKU. “Her experience with private equity-backed staffing companies brings us fresh perspective that will empower our continued innovation and maintain our best-in-class position. Her dedication to personnel development goes hand-in-hand with her ability to partner effectively with other business leaders, making her a key player in our rapid scaling efforts and a welcome new member to our senior leadership team.”
“I have long admired everything about ALKU and am excited to join at a time of significant opportunity for the company and its stakeholders,” said Ainsworth. “This is an incredible professional step for me to draw on all my years in finance and business to deliver exceptional growth while working alongside a high-performing team with strong financial and operational foundations.”
An alumna of University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Ainsworth is a certified public accountant (inactive) and previously served as a board member of CalCPA. She is also a founding member of the Bay Area’s chapter of Chief, a network of senior executive women representing over 10,000 companies. In 2023, she was recognized as one of Financing and Investing’s Top 25 CFOs in the Bay Area.
