Cody started his ALKU career as a Government Recruiter in 2016, before being promoted to Senior Recruiter, and then switching to the sales side of the desk in 2021. Regardless of his role, he has continued to be a high producer while developing the desks of those around him, thanks to his motivating insight and consistent support. With an impressive personal spread high and overseeing ALKU’s Gov IT group, Cody has helped his team reach a record-breaking group spread high. Through his impeccable communication and organization skills, Cody continues to hold his team accountable and inspires them to be the best every day they come to work. He is fiercely dedicated to growing the Government brand, pushing urgency, and consistently leading by example – and his actions speak to his true values.

Cody is our Herndon office’s very own Green Team guru and always ensures his teammates are making environmentally smart decisions and keeping the office as green as possible. Passionate about our giving back opportunities, he annually spearheads the Angel Tree program and participates in the Best Kids 5k and Fun Run. In his new role, Cody will be responsible for mentoring and developing new and existing Account Managers, as well as driving and growing business for Government IT and ALKU’s Gov Brand as a whole. Congratulations, Cody! We are so excited to see all you accomplish in this new role!

“Cody! Congratulations on your promotion to Gov IT Sales Manager! Your leadership, dedication, and vision have earned you this role. Cody is an OG; he has been an excellent Recruiter, an even better Account Manager, and now, a Sales Manager. Cody has a natural knack for business acumen, and when you couple that with his witty, sarcastic humor, you get a great leader. Cody has always been a top producer for Gov IT. He does this while inspiring his team and developing new and existing Account Managers. I admire Cody and his ability to do it all again – he was an established successful Recruiter, but he wanted more. He wanted to reshape his image, switch to sales, and be a leader; there are not many people who would start over 5+ years into their career and be able to do what he did. I am so proud of the leader you have become, Cody. You keep me on my toes, challenge me, and you’re always good for a laugh. Gov is beyond lucky to have you. Here’s to driving success and making a lasting impact. The future of Gov looks brighter and greener with you leading the charge!” – Senior Sales Director, Pharmaceutical & Government, Tarah Lovato

“I have had the pleasure of working with Cody since 2015; he’s always had great winter sweaters, a Miller Lite nearby, and a can-do attitude!  Since 2015, Cody has taken on many titles – Recruiter, Dog Dad, Deal Puts King, Senior AM, Homeowner, and now, Gov IT Sales Manager!  Cody didn’t have the most traditional path at ALKU, but he’s had one of the most memorable. Cody is battle-tested, resilient, and one of the hardest workers I know.  He’s been successful as a Recruiter, an Account Manager, a Senior Producer, and now a Sales Leader. Cody has shown that he can be excellent at both sides of the desk, mentor other Account Managers, and monitor all forks in the office – all while staying true to his quirky self. Whether it be a Friday Poll, a Dirty Dish Call Out, or playing Fork Police – Cody is a true cornerstone to the Gov office and our Leadership team. He keeps the team laughing, keeps the office clean, and keeps the AMs dialing! Cody has an amazing ability to be direct, funny, and respected. It’s a hard balance to have – but he’s mastered it, and we couldn’t be luckier to have someone like you in our office and on our Leadership team. I am so proud of you, Cod – you did it!!  Congrats to you and all your accomplishments.” – Recruiting Director, Government, Kayla Jones

“Since joining ALKU, Cody has become an invaluable member of the Government brand, consistently demonstrating an exceptional ability to close business on both sides of the desk while always maintaining a lighthearted approach to the business. His achievements speak for themselves, Combined with his revenue success, Cody has always prioritized supporting others, regardless of his role. Whether jumping on calls, volunteering for role plays, or pausing his own work to assist others, he consistently shows his commitment to fostering team growth and personnel development. Cody, you are one of the individuals who make ALKU great, bringing levity to a high-pressure business. Congratulations on your well-deserved promotion!” – Vice President, Business Development, Dave Bruner
